Reprise: Game Emulator Privacy Policy
This policy describes what Reprise: Game Emulator collects, why, and who it is shared with. It reflects what the app actually does.
What we collect

| Imported games and library details | Compatible game files, names you choose and recent-play information are stored locally in Reprise’s app storage and preferences. Game files are not sent to Point of Vu or uploaded through Reprise’s save backup. |
| Saves and game progress | Save states and cartridge save RAM are stored on your device. When you switch on iCloud save backup and iCloud Drive is available, .state and .srm files may also be stored in your private iCloud Documents container. This does not upload your ROMs. |
| Control layouts and preferences | Your button positions and controller preferences are stored in app preferences. The app also uses Apple’s iCloud key-value storage to sync supported control settings between your Apple devices when iCloud is available. |
| Homebrew downloads | If you choose a downloadable homebrew game in Find Games, the app contacts that game’s download host. That host can receive ordinary connection information such as your IP address. Importing files you already have does not require this download. |
Your game files stay yours. Imported ROMs and disc images stay on your device. Optional iCloud sync transfers save files and control settings through your own Apple iCloud account, not a Point of Vu server.
Who processes your data
We use the following services. Each one receives only what it needs to do its part, and none of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
- We do not use your data for advertising, and there are no advertising or analytics trackers in the app.
- No Point of Vu account, profile, or game-upload server.
- No commercial ROM distribution or proprietary BIOS distribution.
- No access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or location.
No Point of Vu account required
Play locally without creating a Reprise account. Optional iCloud features use your Apple account, not a Point of Vu login.
Your choices
Keep saves local. Leave Cloud Saves backup disabled and save files remain on the device. You can continue playing without iCloud.
Manage iCloud copies. Turn backup off in Cloud Saves to stop future save backups. Existing copies in iCloud Drive may need to be deleted separately from iCloud.
Remove a game. Delete it from the Reprise library to remove the imported local copy, without affecting the original file you imported.
Delete local files. Uninstalling Reprise removes the app’s locally stored files and settings. iCloud backups are managed separately.

Children
Reprise is a general-audience emulator app. It has no in-app social chat or Point of Vu user profiles. Third-party homebrew download links are optional.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date above and note the change in the app.
