Contraption Lab
Build machines out of junk. It rarely works the first time.
Contraption Lab is a physics puzzle game about building machines out of junk. Every level gives you a ball, a goal, and a dock full of parts. Build something that gets it home, hit Go, and find out.
What it does
Twelve chapters, one hundred levels
Each chapter hands you one new idea and then asks what you can do with it. The Factory runs on conveyor belts. The Magnet Mine bends the ball sideways. The Observatory makes it fall upward. The Portal Lab makes distance stop mattering. And the Cat Café has a cat.
Fifteen parts
Ramps, fans, seesaws, balloons, conveyor belts and rocket launchers. Magnets that pull. Bumpers that give speed back and springs that throw straight up. Ice you cannot stop on and glue you cannot move on. Pools that float things. Pads that invert gravity. Linked portals. And the cat.
Seven ways to win
Land it in the basket. Pop a balloon, or cut one loose. Deliver an egg without breaking it. Ring a bell hard enough to hear. Send it down a drain, gently and from above. Or park it on the cat’s bed and keep it there for three seconds — the only goal you win by holding still.
Three stars for a tidy solution
Every level has a par: the number of parts a tidy solution needs. Any win unlocks the next level, but only an efficient one earns three stars. Most boards can be brute-forced on the first try and solved properly on the third.
No nonsense
No ads. No accounts. No data collection of any kind. Progress syncs between your own devices through iCloud and goes nowhere else. Plays fine with no network at all.
