Contraption Lab Privacy Policy
This policy describes what Contraption Lab collects, why, and who it is shared with. It reflects what the app actually does.
What we collect

| Game progress | Which levels you have completed, the fewest parts you used on each, the contraption you left half-built, and your sound, music and haptics preferences. Stored on your device using iOS’s standard app preferences. It contains nothing that identifies you. |
| iCloud sync | If you are signed in to iCloud, your level completions and star ratings sync between your own Apple devices through Apple’s iCloud key-value storage. That data goes to your private iCloud account. We have no access to it. Turning iCloud off for Contraption Lab in Settings stops this and the game continues to work on-device. |
There is no server behind this game. Contraption Lab has no account system and no backend of ours. The only data that ever leaves your device is the level progress that iCloud carries between your own Apple devices, which we cannot see.
Who processes your data
We use the following services. Each one receives only what it needs to do its part, and none of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting services.
- No third-party SDKs of any kind.
- No network requests, other than the iCloud sync described above.
- No access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or location.
There is no account
Nothing to create, nothing to sign in to, and nothing to delete on our end. The game is playable start to finish with no network connection at all.
Your choices
Reset your progress. Settings → Reset All Progress erases your completions, stars and saved boards. It cannot be undone.
Turn off iCloud. Signing out of iCloud, or turning iCloud off for Contraption Lab in iOS Settings, stops sync entirely. The game keeps working.
Delete everything. Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device.

Children
Contraption Lab is suitable for children. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date above and note the change in the app.
